Blake Kuwahara's Achievements in Eyewear Design:

  • honored by the trade magazine 20/20 for design originality

  • received I.D. magazine's highest jury award, "Best of Category in Consumer Products" for KATA Eyewear

  • 1997: selected for membership in the prestigious Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA)

  • Kuwahara becomes only the second eyewear designer elected to the CFDA
